Instruction to Use
🧺 Initial Setup
1. Protect Your Surface: Place the diffuser bottle on a coaster, tray, or plate, especially if setting it on finished wood, plastic, or painted surfaces, as the oil can damage them if spilled.
2. Remove the Seal: Carefully unscrew the decorative cap, remove the inner plastic plug, cork, or seal, and then screw the decorative cap back on.
3. Insert the Reeds: Place the desired number of fibre reeds into the vessel, ensuring the bottom ends are submerged in the oil.
• Start small: We recommend starting with 5 reeds. You can always add more for a stronger scent.
• Spacing: Try to spread the reeds out slightly to help with airflow.
4. Wait for Saturation (The Fibre Advantage): Fibre reeds start wicking almost immediately. Allow 1–2 hours for the oil to travel up the reeds. You should notice a subtle scent release within a few hours, with the full fragrance developing within 24 hours.
🔄 Ongoing Use and Maintenance
• Adjust Scent Strength:
• Stronger Scent: Add more reeds or flip the reeds over every 1–2 weeks
• Lighter Scent: Remove one or two reeds.
• Flipping the Reeds: While fibre reeds are designed not to require flipping as often as rattan, flipping them can provide a boost in fragrance.
• How to Flip: Do this over a sink or a paper towel to avoid dripping oil onto your surfaces. Carefully lift the reeds, flip them so the dry end is now submerged, and reinsert them.
• Optimal Placement: Place the diffuser in an area with good air circulation (like a hallway or near a doorway) to help disperse the fragrance. Avoid direct sunlight or direct drafts from air conditioning/fans, which can cause the oil to evaporate too quickly.
Important Safety Note: Keep the diffuser and oil out of reach of children and pets. Do not ingest the oil.
